When is the best time to visit Santa Teresa?
For enjoying the best Costa Rica weather paired with the fewest crowds, and better excursion opportunities, we recommend mid-November through April; for those looking for a next-level surf trip, this is also the best time to visit for good waves.
Are there hidden fees?
There are no hidden fees, although there is a 13% VAT tax and a 3.5% gratuity fee. The optional services, including accessing on-call concierge support, event planning, etc., will be additional and include up-front pricing.
How do the villas differ from one another?
While Casa Teresa can host up to 8 guests in 4,700 square feet, Casa Teresa Grande is 16,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 16 guests. Casa Teresa Grande also has features like a game room, infinity pool, and gym. This larger Costa Rica villa is still private and exclusive, but just more ideal for small parties, including for breathtaking destination weddings and epic retreats.
What if I have to cancel or change my plans?
We understand that sometimes, paradise has to wait a little longer due to certain life events and unexpected changes. You get a 90% refund if you cancel or rebook 60 or more days before check in and when final deposit is due.
After that, you can rebook with a 25% fee, but cancellations are no longer refundable as we emphasize exclusivity for our guests. Please communicate with us about any expected change in your requested booking as soon as possible.
